- Building program logic models that work for you.
- Incorporating program evaluation.
- Learning strategies for program sustainability.
Who Should Attend?
Our workshop is designed not only for those who are new to grant proposals or those who have struggled with grants in the past, but also those who are looking for better ways to communicate with funders. Additionally, this workshop is ideal for people wanting to get a better grasp of their programs and services in preparation for future grant writing endeavours.
Why Choose ASC?
ASC has developed and evaluated programs and services with non-profit organizations and academic faculty for a number of years. We know what it takes to help you understand your program and services and communicate them to a range of audiences. We also have extensive experience teaching and engaging groups and individuals with a variety of backgrounds. Finally, we value the application of knowledge, and will ensure you leave our workshop with the tools you need to write successful grants.
Without question there are other grant writing workshops out there. What sets our workshop apart from others is the strategy we employ so you develop a thorough understanding of your program. At ASC we believe a successful grant writing workshop is one that does more than just tell you which words to use, and talks at length about what to do and what not to do. While we certainly include those, we go further and make sure you completely understand how your goals, activities, and outcomes relate to one another. And then we help you develop the tools necessary to communicate those elements to funders. And most importantly, by the end of the workshop, you will have developed a working template specific to your programs and services, which can then be tailored to any future grant proposal you write.
ASC Advantage:
In order to maximize the level of interaction you receive, our workshops are limited to a maximum number of 20 attendees. In addition, two experienced research consultants facilitate our workshops. Finally, it is important that you receive all the guidance you need. Along with time during the workshop to work on your own Program Logic Model and other activities, you are also invited to submit your own PLM for review after the workshop has ended. In other words, you will be able to develop a PLM at your own pace and submit it for a professional review at no additional cost. This is a value of $165 for FREE!
