Program Evaluation and Development Workshop
Program evaluation is about understanding 1) your clients, 2) the structure and activities of your programs and services, 3) your goals, and 4) whether or not those goals are being met. This workshop will teach you what it takes to develop and evaluate your programs and services. During this training workshop, you will learn key strategies to better understand and articulate your programs and activities. Further, you will acquire the skills to communicate efficiently about the evaluation process.
This 2-day Training Workshop consists of the following:
- Understanding the need for a program or service.
- Identifying the structure and purpose of a program or service.
- Developing program logic models (PLMs).
- Assessing how the program or service is being implemented.
- Determining the success of a program or service.

This workshop is designed for a wide range of audiences from the evaluation novice to the experienced researcher. Whether you are an executive director, front line service provider, faculty member, or student, you will learn how to develop sustainable programs and assess what’s working and what’s not.

In order to maximize the level of interaction you receive, our workshops are limited to a maximum number of 20 attendees. In addition, two experienced research consultants facilitate our workshops. Along with time during the workshop to work on your own Program Logic Model and other activities, you are also invited to submit your own PLM for review after the workshop has ended.
